Sunbird photo spam. The detailer and his team worked absolute MAGIC today. Full wash and ceramic coating, too. Holy moly. It looks like it’s 1990 again. They spent over eight hours on it and buffed it, too.
Behold, one of the cleanest J-bodies on planet earth.
I think I’m the only person on earth to treat a Sunbird this way. Oh well.

I love this thread. The car is beautiful, especially that stitching on the steering wheel! Preserving nice cars is good work.

To do a proper detail, you literally have to go over the entire interior with a 2" brush, plus prewash, wash, rinse, shammy, buff, and wax the entire exterior. All by hand. It takes a while. I don't miss it one bit

beautiful, funny how we can look back and realize what simple classic lines some of the older cars had we didn’t appreciate at the time. all the car s and suv’s have so many folds and creases now it’s refreshing to kinda go back in time with one of these curvy beaut’s

The steering wheel cover is actually an Amazon special I had in my wish list for my daily driver (a 2016 Mazda6). My mother-in-law got me the cover for Christmas and then I realized it’d look good in the Sunbird.
